Malic Acid
Used as an acidulant in food, beverages, and confectionery. In pharmaceuticals, it acts as a pH adjuster and excipient. Industrially, it’s applied in metal cleaning, resins, and cosmetic exfoliants.
Low toxicity; may irritate eyes and skin. Handle with gloves and avoid dust formation.
