Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone (NHDC) is a white crystalline compound derived from citrus flavonoids through hydrogenation. It is intensely sweet—approximately 1,500 times sweeter than sucrose.
Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone
Used as a non-caloric sweetener and flavor enhancer in food, beverages, and pharmaceuticals. It also functions as a bitterness masker in oral formulations.
