Potassium permanganate is a dark purple crystalline oxidizing agent with strong disinfectant and bleaching capabilities. It is soluble in water, producing violet-colored solutions with high redox potential.

Potassium Permanganate

Used in water purification, disinfection, and odor control. In pharmaceuticals, it functions as an antiseptic and oxidizer. Industrially, it’s employed in metal surface cleaning, chemical synthesis, and wastewater treatment.

Strong oxidizer; reacts vigorously with organics and reducing agents. May cause burns upon contact with skin. Handle with care under ventilation and non-sparking conditions.

Delivered in 25 kg HDPE drums or 50 kg composite containers. Store cool, dry, and tightly closed away from combustibles and acids.
