Potassium Sulfate (CAS 7778-80-5), also called sulfate of potash or arcanite, is a white, non-hygroscopic crystalline mineral salt that supplies both potassium and sulfur without chloride contamination, and it is used in chloride-sensitive fertilizer formulations, pharmaceuticals, glass manufacturing, and food applications as E515. It is moderately soluble in water and non-hygroscopic.
