TriIsobutyl Phosphate is a very strong Technical Grade polar solvent and defoamer. It appears as a colorless liquid with excellent wetting properties and a low viscosity profile across various temperatures.

The product is primarily used as an Antifoaming Agent in construction chemicals and textile processing. It is highly effective at destroying micro-foam in cementitious systems and synthetic resin emulsions without affecting surface quality.

As a Plasticizer, it provides low-temperature flexibility to nitrocellulose and synthetic rubbers. Its hydrophobic nature makes it an excellent choice for improving the water resistance of coatings and inks.

TriIsobutyl Phosphate (TiBP)
  • Concrete Admixtures: Added to high-performance concrete to prevent air entrapment during mixing and application.
  • Textile Auxiliaries: Used as a wetting agent and anti-foaming component in dyeing and finishing baths.
  • Glue and Adhesives: Eliminates foam during the production of water-based adhesives and paper coatings.

Classified as a Skin Sensitizer (Category 1B). May cause allergic reactions. Use Protective Gloves, Safety Goggles, and ensure Adequate Ventilation during use.
