Yellow Dextrine is a highly soluble modified starch produced by dry roasting starch at high temperatures with an acid catalyst, available in Technical Grade. It is distinguished by its yellow color and high tackiness when dissolved in water.

With its excellent Adhesive Strength and rapid drying time, it is the preferred choice for industrial labeling and tube winding applications. The product’s 90% Solubility in cold water allows for the formulation of high-solids adhesive pastes.

In the mining and foundry sectors, it serves as a high-performance binder for sand cores and mineral briquetting. This Specialty Chemical provides superior stability and consistency in demanding industrial coating environments.

Yellow Dextrine

  • Industrial Adhesives: Core binder for paper tubes, abrasive paper, and high-tack labeling adhesives.
  • Foundry Industry: Used as a binder in sand casting to improve the strength and surface finish of molds.
  • Mining and Metallurgy: Acts as a depressant in froth flotation and a binder for the briquetting of mineral fines.

Generally classified as Non-Hazardous. Combustible dust hazard; use Standard PPE including Safety Glasses and Gloves in dusty environments.
