Peracetic Acid is a powerful Oxidizing Agent used primarily as a high-level disinfectant and sanitizer in industrial environments. It is available in various concentrations, typically as a 15% Food Grade or Technical Grade equilibrium solution.
The product offers a broad-spectrum biocidal profile, effectively eliminating bacteria, fungi, and viruses without leaving toxic residues. It is highly valued for its environmentally friendly decomposition into oxygen, water, and acetic acid.
This clear liquid is essential for aseptic packaging and “Clean-in-Place” (CIP) systems in the beverage industry. Its low-temperature activity makes it a preferred choice over thermal sterilization in sensitive industrial processes.
