TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
N-Cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide, commonly known as CBS, is a premier delayed-action accelerator used in the sulfur vulcanization of rubber. This Technical Grade material provides excellent scorch safety and high modulus development in various rubber compounds.
It is highly effective in natural rubber and synthetic elastomers like SBR and NBR, ensuring optimal cross-linking density during the curing process. Its granulated or powder form allows for uniform dispersion within the rubber matrix during high-speed mixing.
CBS is preferred for applications requiring high mechanical strength and resistance to aging, making it indispensable for the tire manufacturing industry. It operates efficiently at standard vulcanization temperatures while preventing premature curing during processing.

Classified as a Skin Sensitizer (Category 1) and Very Toxic to Aquatic Life. Operators must wear Dust Masks (P2), Protective Gloves, and follow strict environmental containment protocols.
PACKAGING
Standard packaging includes 25 kg Paper Bags or Big Bags (Super Sacks) for automated industrial rubber compounding.
