Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate

Essential in shampoos and body washes for lathering; in household detergents for grease cutting; in industrial cleaners for surface degreasing; in cosmetics for emulsion stability; and in textile processing for wetting agents.

Irritates eyes and skin upon direct contact; may cause allergic dermatitis in sensitive individuals. Avoid aerosol formation to prevent inhalation; low toxicity but monitor environmental release; wear protective gear per ChemSpider hazard notes.

Packed in 180 kg stainless steel drums with vented closures for pressure relief. Store upright in chemical-resistant shelving units, away from strong acids to avoid decomposition.
