Diethylethanolamine (DEEA) is a multi-functional amino alcohol used extensively in water treatment and chemical synthesis. It is a colorless liquid with a characteristic amine odor, offering excellent neutralizing and anti-corrosive properties.

In steam boiler systems, it acts as a Technical Grade volatile neutralizing amine, preventing carbonic acid corrosion in condensate lines. Its ability to partition effectively between steam and water ensures comprehensive protection for the entire heating circuit.

Furthermore, DEEA serves as a vital chemical intermediate in the production of pharmaceuticals, emulsifiers, and textile auxiliaries. Its tertiary amine structure makes it an efficient catalyst in the manufacture of polyurethane foams and resins.

Diethylethanolamine
  • Boiler Water Treatment: Neutralizes acidic components in steam systems to prevent metal thinning and pipe failure.
  • Coating Additive: Used in water-borne paints to adjust pH and improve the stability of the resin emulsion.
  • Chemical Intermediate: Serves as a building block for local anesthetics and specialized agricultural chemicals.

Classified as a Flammable Liquid and Corrosive. Harmful in contact with skin and if inhaled. Mandatory use of Rubber Apron, Chemical Gloves, and Respirator in confined spaces.

180 kg Steel Drums, IBC Tanks, and Bulk containers.
