Maltitol is a high-purity disaccharide polyol produced by the hydrogenation of maltose, offering 90% the sweetness of sugar. This Food Grade sweetener is non-cariogenic and provides a significantly lower glycemic response than traditional sucrose.

As a Pharmaceutical Grade excipient, it serves as a robust bulking agent for sugar-free chewable tablets and syrups. It is highly stable at high temperatures, resisting browning and caramelization during industrial baking and confectionery processing.

The product provides a sucrose-like mouthfeel and body, making it ideal for high-quality sugar-reduced chocolates and snacks. It is non-hygroscopic in its crystalline form, ensuring excellent shelf-life for moisture-sensitive products.

Maltitol
  • Sugar-Free Confectionery: Primary sweetener in chocolate and hard candy production, providing bulk without the calories of sugar.
  • Oral Liquid Medications: Used as a sweetening vehicle in syrups and suspensions to improve patient compliance, especially in pediatric care.
  • Bakery Products: Replaces sugar in biscuits and cakes to provide texture and moisture retention while maintaining a low calorie count.

Safe for human consumption; excessive ingestion may result in a laxative effect. No Hazard Classifications apply. Use PPE like Safety Goggles during large-scale industrial handling.

Available in 25 kg Bags (Crystalline) or 275 kg Drums (Liquid Syrup).
