Myristic Acid is a high-purity saturated fatty acid (C14) derived from vegetable sources like palm kernel oil. This Cosmetic Grade solid is essential for producing high-lathering soaps and cleansing creams.
It reacts with alkalis to form myristate soaps, which provide a dense, stable foam and excellent cleansing properties. In skincare, it acts as an emollient, helping to soften the skin while enhancing the penetration of other active ingredients.
