OPE Wax is a Technical Grade synthetic wax produced by the controlled oxidation of polyethylene. It features functional acid groups that provide superior emulsification properties and metal release.

This wax serves as a high-efficiency external lubricant in PVC processing, improving fusion control and surface gloss. It is characterized by its high softening point and excellent thermal stability during high-temperature extrusion.

As a multifunctional additive, it is used to produce stable aqueous emulsions for floor polishes and textile finishes. It provides scuff resistance and improves the mechanical properties of coatings and inks.

Oxidized Polyethylene Wax (OPE Wax)
  • PVC Processing: Acts as a potent lubricant to prevent sticking to metal surfaces and optimize the extrusion process.
  • Emulsions & Polishes: Used in the manufacture of floor, car, and leather polishes for high gloss and durability.
  • Textile Finishing: Improves the sewability and tear strength of fabrics by reducing friction during processing.

Generally Non-Hazardous. Avoid inhalation of dust during handling; use Dust Goggles and Safety Gloves in production areas.

Supplied in 25 kg Kraft Paper Bags or Jumbo Bags (500-1000 kg).
