Calcium Stearate is a metallic soap produced through the reaction of stearic acid and lime, offered in Fine Powder and Granular forms. It is characterized by its hydrophobic properties and excellent internal/external lubrication capabilities in polymer processing.
This Technical Grade additive acts as a highly effective acid scavenger, neutralizing catalyst residues in polyolefin production to prevent equipment corrosion. Its high melting point and heat stability make it a staple in high-temperature extrusion and molding.
Beyond plastics, it functions as a Water Repellent in construction materials, significantly reducing water absorption in mortars and concrete. The material is non-toxic and complies with various regulatory standards for indirect food contact applications.
SoleChem, an ISO 9001:2015 certified chemical supplier based in Türkiye, delivers Calcium Stearate (CAS 1592-23-0) to customers in more than 40 countries.
