Potassium Hydroxide
Used in soap and detergent production, biodiesel manufacture, and electrolyte solutions. It serves as a neutralizing and saponification agent in chemical synthesis and as a catalyst in biodiesel transesterification. In pharmaceuticals, it acts as a pH regulator.
Corrosive to skin, eyes, and metals. Avoid contact with acids or organic materials. Use protective gloves, goggles, and ventilation during handling.
Delivered in 25 kg HDPE-lined PP bags or 1,000 kg big bags. Store in dry, cool conditions, away from acids, aluminum, and moisture sources.
