Sodium Etasulfate, or sodium 2-ethylhexyl sulfate, is a branched anionic surfactant, clear liquid highly soluble, providing low foam wetting for industrial cleaning. Derived from 2-ethylhexanol sulfation, per Brenntag sulfates and PubChem surfactants.

Degreasers in metal parts; emulsion stabilizers in polymers; penetrants in textiles; flotation collectors in mining; and hard surface cleaners.
Defats skin leading to dermatitis; eye corrosive in concentrates. Biodegradable; dilute with water; protective eyewear per GHS irritant labels.
Contained in 200 kg HDPE barrels with screw caps for secure pouring. Upright in etasulfate chemical storage bays.
