Copper hydroxide (Cu(OH)₂) is a fine blue powder with strong fungicidal properties and alkaline reactivity. It acts as a source of slow-release copper ions in agrochemical and industrial processes.

Applications

Used in agriculture as a fungicide for fruit and vegetable crops and in the manufacture of catalysts and pigments. It also serves as a precursor for cupric salts and in electronic ceramic formulations.

Safety & Risks

Toxic if ingested; causes eye and skin irritation. Avoid dust generation and contact with acids that release heat and toxic vapors.

Packaging

Delivered in 25–50 kg PE-lined bags or fiber drums. Store dry and sealed, away from moisture and incompatible materials.
