Zinc dihexyldithiocarbamate (C₁₄H₂₈N₂S₄Zn) is a fast-curing accelerator used in latex and dry rubber compounds. It provides excellent heat aging resistance and low compression set in finished products.
Zinc Dihexyldithiocarbamate
Applied in the manufacture of rubber gloves, seals, and hoses where flexibility and low toxicity are required. Also functions as a stabilizer and antioxidant in rubber and polymeric materials.
Avoid inhalation and skin contact; may cause sensitization. Decomposes under heat releasing toxic gases. Handle under good ventilation.
Supplied in 25 kg PE-lined paper bags or drums. Store cool, dry, and sealed away from oxidizers and sunlight.
