Thiram (CAS 137-26-8), also known as tetramethylthiuram disulfide, is a dithiocarbamate compound supplied as a Technical Grade solid that acts as a broad-spectrum fungicide and a rubber accelerator, used in agriculture as a seed protectant and animal repellent and in rubber vulcanization. Applications
- Seed Treatment: Protects corn, soybeans, and cereals from damping-off and seed rot during germination.
