Totarol (CAS 511-15-9) is a naturally occurring diterpene extracted from Totara heartwood that appears as an off-white to light brown solid at 98% purity, acts against Gram-positive bacteria, shows antioxidant activity, and dissolves in oil for anhydrous balms, serums and lipid-based emulsions.
