Trioctyl Phosphate (TOP) (CAS 78-42-2) is a Technical Grade organophosphate ester plasticizer and flame retardant additive, supplied as a colorless, odorless liquid with a minimum purity of 98%, used to give PVC, NBR rubber and cellulose acetate resins low-temperature flexibility and weather resistance. Characterized by 98% min purity, it provides superior low-temperature flexibility and excellent weather resistance to synthetic rubbers and plastics.
This colorless, odorless liquid is highly valued in the production of PVC and synthetic rubber components where cold-resistance is critical. It also functions as a highly efficient carrier solvent in the manufacturing of hydrogen peroxide.
TOP is prized for its low volatility and high chemical stability, ensuring the longevity of materials subjected to harsh environmental stress. It is a vital component in the production of automotive cables, seals, and high-performance industrial hoses.
