Vitamin C Ascorbyl Glucoside (CAS 129499-78-1; EC 603-337-7) is a glycosylated, stabilised derivative of L-ascorbic acid with formula C₁₂H₁₈O₁₁ and molecular weight 338.27 g/mol. Supplied as a white to off-white crystalline powder, density 1.83 g/cm³, melting point 158–163 °C, and high water solubility (879 g/L at 25 °C).

The compound releases active vitamin C enzymatically on biological or skin contact, offering markedly greater oxidative stability than free ascorbic acid under standard formulation and storage conditions. Available in Food Grade and Pharma Grade at purities of 98% and above, meeting USP, Ph.Eur., and FCC specifications.
