Vitamin E Mixed Tocopherols (CAS 1406-66-2) are naturally derived, fat-soluble antioxidants obtained from vegetable oils, supplied as a colorless to light yellow viscous oil with commercial concentrations of 50–97% active tocopherols, and used in food, feed and personal care applications. MW 416.68 g/mol; density 0.930 g/mL (25 °C); refractive index n20/D 1.501; bp and flash point >200 °C; log P ~10.7. Designated food additive E306; listed in Annex II of Directive 2002/46/EC. USP and Ph.Eur. grades available.
