Ethylene Distearamide (CAS 110-30-5), also known as EBS or ethylene bis-stearamide, is a Technical Grade synthetic wax supplied as a white to off-white powder or bead that acts as an internal and external lubricant, mold release agent and pigment dispersing aid in plastics and rubber processing. It is a white to off-white powder or bead, characterized by a high melting point and excellent lubricating properties.

In the plastics industry, EBS serves as both an internal and external lubricant, improving the flow and mold release of various resins like PVC and ABS. It helps prevent polymer sticking and reduces surface friction during high-speed extrusion.

Beyond plastics, it is utilized as a dispersing agent for pigments in masterbatches and as a defoamer in textile processing. It provides superior scratch resistance and surface gloss to finished rubber and plastic products.
