Methyldiethanolamine (CAS 105-59-9) is a colorless, hygroscopic liquid amine of low volatility and high chemical stability, supplied in Technical Grade and used as a gas treatment agent for CO₂ and H₂S removal in natural gas and refinery operations, and as an intermediate in surfactants, corrosion inhibitors and polyurethane catalysts. It is partially miscible with water and alcohols.

Applications
Used as a gas treatment agent for CO₂ and H₂S removal in natural gas and refinery operations. Also applied as an intermediate in surfactants, corrosion inhibitors, and polyurethane catalysts.
