Methyldiethanolamine is a colorless, hygroscopic liquid amine with low volatility and high chemical stability. It is partially miscible with water and alcohols.
Methyldiethanolamine
Used as a gas treatment agent for CO₂ and H₂S removal in natural gas and refinery operations. Also applied as an intermediate in surfactants, corrosion inhibitors, and polyurethane catalysts.
Corrosive and irritant; avoid inhalation and prolonged skin contact.
Supplied in 200 kg HDPE drums or IBC tanks. Store in cool, dry, and sealed conditions.
