Strontium Peroxide (CAS 1314-18-7) is an inorganic peroxide compound of strontium supplied as a light-colored solid, and it is used as an oxidizer in pyrotechnics for red flares, in tracers and fireworks, in explosives, and in bleaching agents. It has a density of 4.56 g/cm³, decomposes above 500°C releasing oxygen, and is insoluble in water but reacts with acids. Oxidizer, produced by reacting strontium hydroxide with hydrogen peroxide.

Safety & Risks
Strong oxidizer, fire risk with combustibles; irritates skin and eyes. Avoid water which causes violent reactions; Hazard Class 5.1.
Packaging
In 25kg drums with liners; store away from heat; rinse triply for recycling or incinerate safely.
