Sulbutiamine is a synthetic derivative of thiamine (Vitamin B1) supplied as a white to off-white crystalline solid with molecular formula C₃₂H₄₆N₈O₆S₂ and molecular weight 702.89 g/mol. Melting point 144–145 °C, density approximately 1.13 g/cm³; lipophilic character gives it greater fat solubility than thiamine, facilitating membrane permeability.
Also known as Bisibuthiamine or by the trade name Arcalion, sulbutiamine is used in nutraceutical and food applications where a bioavailable thiamine source is required. It is available in Food Grade and Pharma Grade.
SoleChem, an ISO 9001:2015 certified chemical supplier based in Türkiye, delivers Sulbutiamine (CAS 3286-46-2) to customers in more than 40 countries.
