Bay Leaf Extract (CAS 8007-48-5) is a botanical extract obtained from Laurus nobilis leaves by solvent extraction, supplied as a brown powder or liquid carrying polyphenols, flavonoids and eugenol, and used in supplements, food preservatives and skin-soothing cosmetics. Soluble in water/ethanol, pH 4-5; density ~1.0 g/cm³; produced by solvent extraction, used for antioxidant and antimicrobial effects.
