Grape seed oil (CAS 8024-22-4) is a carrier oil extracted from Vitis vinifera grape seeds, supplied as a Technical Grade liquid rich in linoleic acid and vitamin E, used as a lightweight emollient in cosmetics, a stable cooking oil in food processing and a carrier for fat-soluble supplement actives. It is distinguished by its high concentration of Linoleic Acid and Vitamin E, providing excellent oxidative stability and a high smoke point of 216°C.
This oil acts as a lightweight Emollient in cosmetic chemistry, offering a non-greasy skin feel and rapid dermal absorption. Its Antioxidant properties make it a preferred choice for protecting formulations against lipid peroxidation while maintaining a neutral sensory profile.
The product is supplied as a Technical Grade liquid suitable for large-scale industrial food processing and high-end personal care manufacturing. It serves as an effective Solvent for fat-soluble vitamins and active botanical extracts in complex delivery systems.
