Gama Cyclodextrin (CAS 17465-86-0) is a white, eight-unit cyclic oligosaccharide with the largest hydrophobic cavity among natural cyclodextrins, broken down to glucose by salivary and pancreatic amylases and used to solubilize large API molecules in liquids and stabilize Coenzyme Q10 and Omega-3 fatty acids in foods and supplements. This High Purity additive is exceptionally soluble, making it the preferred choice for liquid pharmaceutical formulations and clear beverages.
It is highly effective as a Food Grade stabilizer for large molecules like Coenzyme Q10 and Omega-3 fatty acids. The product exhibits superior metabolic digestibility, being completely broken down into glucose by salivary and pancreatic amylases.
Its unique structure allows for the molecular inclusion of bulky guests that cannot fit into Alpha or Beta cavities. It provides an odorless, tasteless solution for enhancing the absorption and stability of high-value nutritional ingredients.
