Carnauba Wax (CAS 8015-86-9) is a natural vegetable wax harvested from palm trees, supplied as a yellow solid in powder or flake form, and used as a glazing agent in confectionery and fruit coatings, as a structuring agent in lipsticks, mascaras and balms, and in automotive polishes. This material is characterized by its high melting point and extreme hardness, providing superior durability and gloss in finished products. It is an excellent emollient and thickening agent, widely used in high-end cosmetic formulations.

As a Food Grade glazing agent, it provides a protective, shiny coating for confectionery and fresh fruits. Its hypoallergenic properties and natural origin make it a preferred choice for sustainable consumer goods.
