Vitamin E Tocotrienols have molecular formula C₂₆H₃₈O₂ and molecular weight 382.58 g/mol. Density is approximately 0.973 g/cm³ (predicted); boiling point 507.5 °C (predicted). Supplied as an oil or oil-based concentrate. Tocotrienol tocopherol is listed in Annex II of Directive 2002/46/EC as a permitted Vitamin E source in food supplements. Authorised EU health claims (Reg. 432/2012) state that Vitamin E contributes to normal protection of cells from oxidative stress.
